Service Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 July 2026

These terms govern the publishing and related services provided by ThesisPublisher.my, trading as ThesisPublisher.my. They supplement our general Terms of Service.

1. Services offered

production and online publication of scholarly articles

  • Peer-reviewed journal publishing — submission, peer review, editing,
  • Book and monograph publishing — whole books and individual chapters
  • Conference organisation — registration, abstract handling and proceedings
  • Access services — individual and institutional subscriptions

2. Submission and review

Submitting a manuscript is an offer, not a contract to publish. Every submission is screened for scope and similarity, then sent for peer review under the model stated on the journal's page. Acceptance is never guaranteed and is never conditional on payment.

Indicative timeframes are published on each journal's page. They are estimates, not contractual commitments — review depends on reviewer availability.

3. Author responsibilities

By submitting, you confirm that:

  • the work is original, is yours, and does not infringe anyone's rights ON CONFLICT DO NOTHING;
  • it is not under consideration elsewhere;
  • all listed authors have approved the submission and meet authorship criteria;
  • any required ethical approval and participant consent has been obtained;
  • competing interests and funding sources are declared;
  • data presented is accurate and not fabricated or manipulated.

4. Licensing and copyright

Open-access articles are published under the licence stated on the journal's page. You retain copyright unless expressly agreed otherwise, and grant us the right to publish, distribute and archive the work.

5. Charges

Where an article processing charge applies, the amount is stated on the journal's page before submission. Charges are invoiced after acceptance. Waivers and discounts are described in each journal's waiver policy.

6. Corrections, retractions and withdrawal

Published work is permanent. Errors are handled by correction, expression of concern, or retraction as appropriate, following COPE guidance. Withdrawal after acceptance may incur a charge covering work already performed.

7. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not warrant uninterrupted service. Maintenance is scheduled outside peak hours where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from these services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of academic opportunity. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
